How can I determine whether a new address has Maxis Home Fibre Coverage?
To begin with, go here to see if your new address is covered.
Simply stroll into any Maxis Store to request relocation if your new address is covered. Please bring your modem to the new installation address on the installation day; an RM200 fee may apply for a new modem.
Bring your modem with you and visit the closest Maxis Center to terminate your fibre service if your new address is outside of our coverage region. If your previous service and home devices are still covered by your contract, an early termination fee will be charged.
Is it possible for me to keep my old VOIP number at my new address?
The location would determine this. The VOIP number range may change depending on the location.
What will happen to my home device contract and fibre commitment time following service relocation?
Your active device contracts and commitment term for fibre (if any) will carry over to your new fibre service.
How long is the contract term?
The contract term is 24 months, beginning on the subscription date rather than the delivery date. In the event that any of the following occurs during the contract time, the device’s remaining balance will be charged:
- Contract cancellation before expiration
- Switch ownership
- Transfer to an unserviceable address
- Reducing the original Fibre or Home 4G WiFi starter plan’s entry level
- Renounce your subscription to Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & Fibre or
- Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & Home 4G WiFi.
