Pros and Cons of using TIME Internet
TIME Internet offers Malaysians one of the country’s fastest consumer internet speeds. They solely focus on broadband, yet they span the full industry, from mobile to enterprise-level wholesale bandwidth.
One of the main limiting problems as compared to Malaysia Telecom, the national telecoms powerhouse, is that their coverage is far more limited.
TIME primarily invests in heavily populated locations, which is beneficial to the firm but inconvenient for customers. TIME is now only available in densely populated regions and high-density structures such as flats.
Now, without wasting time, let’s start discussing the pros and cons of using TIME Internet .
Pros
Fast internet
The majority of today’s wireless broadband routers include a gigabit LAN connector, which implies they can handle rates of up to 1000 Mbps. For examples, TIME’s default wifi network and an Acer Aspire 5 laptop are used. TIME ‘s router is a dual-band AC1200 model, which means it can transmit at rates of 300Mbps and 866Mbps at 2.4GHz and 5GHz, respectively.
Free equipment
This isn’t exactly a competitive advantage for TIME broadband in comparison to other providers, but I’m not against to giving out free stuff. TIME broadband subscriptions include two complimentary pieces of equipment: a converter unit and a wireless modem.
You get a TP-Link Archer C1200 if you join up for their 100Mbps or 500Mbps plans, and a free D-Link DIR-882 if you sign up for TIME Internet 1Gbps plan. The first is an AC1200, and the other is an AC2600. They have theoretical speeds of 1,200Mbps and 2,200Mbps.

Cons
Choice of contract duration
Some of you may be confused by the disadvantages of the contract terms option, but this is true. You can choose 12-month and 24-month contract periods through TIME subscription, and TM binds you to a 24-month commitment. But for TIME , a surcharge of RM400 or RM500 will be automatically levied on a non-locked contract on your account-you will not be entitled to the promotion!
Limited Coverage
The most significant downside of TIME broadband is its incredibly restricted reach. It is mostly sold in the Klang Valley, as well as a few locations in Penang and Johor Bahru.
Furthermore, the number of installation ports available in each site is restricted.
